Suzanne is an enthusiastic participant in humanitarian work, which she has enjoyed for more than 30 years. She was heavily involved in Interact, Rotaract and Rotary, holding the posts of director, secretary, vice-president and president within the organisations at one time or another.

She is a vehement supporter of animal welfare and loves the outdoors. She supports ad hoc community initiatives through education for underprivileged children together with her husband, Gregg.
